Akala Vashimu

The Akala Vashimu is a new monster set to make its debut appearance in the upgraded 3.0 version of Monster Hunter Frontier (PC). A video of this monster can be found here.
The Akala Vashimu is a scorpion-like monster with crystal materials growing from its body. From the video on the official site, the Akala hides underground with only its tail in the open, possibly to attract hunters with its sparkling materials. When in danger, its tail swings violently to ware off enemies.
The Akala Vashimu may possibly be of Neopteron Speicies from its insect-like appearance, however this has yet to be confirmed.
