[edit] How to Renovate

When you first boot up the game you start in the up left portion of the village. To your right there is a man wearing yellow clothes and a backpack. If you talk to this man it will bring up a menu with the options Renovate, Point Exchange, and Explain Points. If you select the Renovate option it will bring up a menu with a list of choices. In the top right is the pokke points that you have and on the right-hand side of the screen are the available renovations. Anything in white is what you can renovate, anything in red has been renovated, and anything in Grey hasn't been renovated but you don't have enough pokke points to renovate it yet. To renovate an area you have to have the required pokke points and all renovations before that E.g. you have to have Mining Point +1, +2, and +3 before you can get mining point +4. To renovate it select the area you want to renovate and hit the (o) button. The next time you enter the farm the area you renovated will be ready to use.

[edit] Pokke Points Explained

Pokke Points are a valuable asset in the game as they allow you to renovate your farm and exchange them for some items. There are a few ways of attaining them, they are: from training missions, from account items and from treasure hunting quests. After a training mission a menu will appear that will tally up you points for that round. You get however many pokke points as points you get divided by 10 E.g. if you get 3567 points you will get 356 pokke points. Another way is account items. During a quest you can gather items that are know as account items. After the quest these items get taken out of your inventory and converted into pokke points. Depending on the items you will get a certain amount of pokke points. Getting points from treasure hunting works along the same lines as getting points from Training missions. At the end of the round the points that you have gotten will be divided by 10 and converted into pokke points.

[edit] Point Exchange

Another reason why pokke points are useful is they allow you to buy certain items with them. This chart shows the items available for exchange and the price in pokke points.

[edit] Gathering

Field Rows: Walk up to the cat in middle of the farm (it's fenced off) and talk to it. It will give you the option to pick what kind of seed or fertalizer you want to plant and then what row you want to plant them in. Fertalizers increase the level of the row (1-3) which increases the ammount of planted item you will recieve. After you plant a seed go on a quests complete it, come back, walk over the field row and hit the (o) button to gather your materials.

Fishing Pier and Casting Machine: Here you can fish in 3 areas (if fully developed) and use the casting machine. The fishing section is located on the right side of the farm on the dock area. From each point you can fish (need info) times. The casting machine requiers nets to use it but gets you lots of fish at once. To use it talk to the cat at the end of the pier and use a net. You will step up to the casting machine and a aimer will appear. In the water a group of fish will be swimming around on a designated pattern. Aim in front of them a bit then fire. Depending on how many fish you hit you will receive a certain ammount of fish in the rewards.

Mining Points and Bomb Mining: There are 4 renovations for mining and at each point you can mine 3-4 times. The mining points are located on the left side of the farm. To access the upper mining points you have to climb the ladders to the upper portions. The bomb mining works by talking to the cat standing next to the ladder from the ground to the first upper portion of the mining points. He will ask you if you want to go bomb mining and what bomb you would like to use. Depending on what bomb you use it will affect what types of minerals you get and how many.

Insect Thicket and Bug Tree: There are 4 upgrades for the insect thicket and the addition of the bug tree. The Insect Thickets are located at the back of the farm in each of the bushes behind the field rows. You can gather 3-4 bugs from each bush. To use the bug tree talk to the cat standing at the end of the farm near a large tree. He will ask you if you want to hit the tree with a hammer and shake the bugs out. There are 3 types of hammers, they are, white, black and gold. With each hammer the speed increases but the items also get better. The objective is to time the hammer hit right so that you knock the most ammount of bugs out of the tree. You want to hit the tree right after the white flash from the hammer happens. Note, this costs money.

Mushroom Tree: The mushroom tree has 3 upgrades and is located on the immediate left of the entrance. To gather mushrooms simply walk up to the tree and hit (o) you will gather materials and have the option to send them to your box or to put them into your invintory.

Beehive: There are 3 upgrades for the beehive and with each upgrade you get a higher chance of getting more honey. The beehive is located on the immediate right of the entrance. To gather simply walk up to the hive and press (o). You will gather the materials and be offered the same options as with the mushroom tree.

Ice Cave: This gathering point you can't renovate. To unlock this point you must kill a tigerex and then after the quest the gathering point will be open. To mine you must have 2 elder dragon bones. From this point you will recieve dark stones and dark pieces. The cave is located on the back left-hand corner of the farm.

[edit] Notes

As you increase your Hunter Rank the items you get from gathering will get better and better. You also have to clear village quests and get a higher Hunter Rank to unlock more renovations.
