One of the weakest monsters in the game, Kelbis usually jump around minding their own business. They will run away if a wyvern appears, although they are in most quests which do not involve a wyvern. Their carves are used for making armour such as Velociprey armour. No weapons can be made using its materials. Their horns are also useful because they can be combined with an immunizer to create an Ancient Potion. The lovable Kelbi makes a return in Monster Hunter 3.
