Kirin

This beautiful beast is known as the Kirin. Its fast speed and ability to strike its enemies with bolts of lightning from the sky make it a tough fight. Not to mention its extremely tough hide that bounces almost any sharpness. Also, as this is an elder dragon, it is immune to all traps.

The steed's hide and horn is extremely valuable and the horn can be broken. Its name is derived from the Mythical Chinese Beast called a Qilin, which a giraffe was mistaken for. The Kirin is said to be an ancient creature that has been alive for thousands of years. In mythology, the Kirin is a deer-like beast that can walk on grass yet not trample the blades and it can also walk on water. In the game, it never stays still for anything but its stop animation, and attack opportunities are few and far in between. Although it has no weak points, Sleep Bombing is considered to be the strategy with least injuries.

Contrary to popular belief, Kirin is not weak to the dragon element and unlike other elder dragons, it does not flee from battles, nor does it offer elder dragon blood as a reward. Direct damage to the Horn is the best way to kill this monster, with many people favouring a Heavy Bowgun and pellet shots due to their wide range of damage which is essential when fighting an agile small monster like the kirin.
