Kokoto Village

The Kokoto Village is the main location for Monster Hunter, Monster Hunter G and Monster Hunter Freedom. The area is set closely to the Forest and Hills, with cherry blossoms flowing in the wind in the town. The town has established a Gathering Hall which enlists hunters to protect the village. Also, situated near the Gathering Hall is a Training Hall and situated near your hunter's house is the Farm.
The village is home to the Legendary Gunner and the Kokoto Elder, two legendary hunters who retired after taking serious injuries from a particularly strong Monoblos.
Between the events of Monster Hunter and Monster Hunter Freedom, a huge elder dragon caused the roads between the village and the guild town to be blocked, making travel impossible. To solve this problem, the Guild established smaller Halls to deliver quests to the local hunters.
