Navaldeus, staring at the Hunter

Navaldeus is a new monster exclusively featured in Monster Hunter 3. Not much is known about the creature, except that it is extremely large in size, similar to that of a Lao Shan Lung and is a sea dwelling creature. It can only be fought in an underground water cave.

Whilst fighting it can go into rage mode, during which it's stomach will become covered in red splotches.

Rage mode

Unlike Lao, it will attack directly, mainly in the last area, of which it is no longer travelling. It can perform the following:

• Suck up water than shoot out at high power creating an underwater beam (Hunter can also get sucked in).
• Curl up and quickly quickly dart forward.
• Flick it's tail which will knock the hunter back.

It's 2 horns and part of it's tail can also be cut off.

When Navaldeus is repelled, it will swim up to the surface of area 3 on the map, which is inaccessible by the hunter. It CANNOT be killed or repelled in any other area than area 3.
