The Rathalos is an aggressive flying Wyvern, the male counterpart of a Rathian. It is more partial to the skies than the ground, so as a hunter be wary and look to the skies! Many fire related attacks makes this guy a pain in the ass, but have no fear, they can be easily evaded...with a little bit of skill. Very territorial, there aren't many areas of the FnH that he doesn't visit. There are 3 different Rathalos types: Red (rust colour), Azure, and Silver. Silver rathalos can only be fought in high or G ranked quest levels. WIth a bit of practice you'll be hunting these Wyverns with a simple hunting knife - yes, you can be that good!!

• Rust Rathalos: Ice and water
• Azure Rathalos: Dragon
• Silver Rathalos: Thunder

[edit] Simple Tips

• Stay to his LEFT at all times (if you are facing him, it will be your right, and if you are facing in the same direction, his left!)
