Red Fatalis

Red Fatalis (also known as Crimson Fatalis or Moribalken) is one of the three "Fatalis Brothers", which consists of Black, Crimson, and White Fatalis. Crimson Fatalis is fought as one of the final bosses of the game(s), he is fought deep in the volcanic belt, in the area known as "Battleground", the site of missions of similar difficulty, notably, "Rise to the summit", in which the player is faced off against Akantor.

He is the final "boss" of Monster Hunter Freedom, capable of being fought at the very end of the Guild Hall quest line.

In Monster Hunter Freedom 2, Crimson Fatalis is the most powerful monster that can be fought without downloading any quests, in which case White Fatalis is the most powerful.

Crimson Fatalis is capable of summoning meteors to fall upon its enemies, which is almost always a one-hit kill on its target if hit. He is also able to fly and shoot fireballs as well as swoop down while flying, normally crossing the battlefield in the process. These are his most common attacks though he is also capable of falling onto all four legs to crush those below him.
